Today’s update adds statistics for books, custom notifications on book creation, as well as Hoka links so one can easily receive payments, trending hashtags to find interesting content and a lot more.
Trending Hashtags
Finding interesting content is always hard on social network. Specially when one is new. With today release with are adding a simple yet powerful way for you to find new content and people to follow: Trending Hashtags. Right at the top of the Dikalo feed you will see the most interesting topics and from there you can follow the profiles that created that content.
Books Statistics
With Dikalo we aim the the place where you can find interesting and powerful content. Books are an excellent book to find great content. With this release we are improving the books section. Books author now have a simple way to see statistics about their books. Reader count, downloads count, clicks count and even at what page the reader stopped reading your book.
As a reader you will receive a notification when a book is published and you can even follow a particular author.
Trending Books
We are making books even more prominent on the platform. On the main feed we will now display trending books. These are books that are currently reading or talking about a lot. Helping you find even more interesting content on the platform.
Books on main profile
We are done yet. We also added a book tab of the main profile. Clicking on that tab will display all the books that the user has published on the platform. Giving you a direct access to that users library. How cool is that ?
Hoka Links
With Hoka we are introducing a new kind of service to Dikalo. The main idea is to bring payment to social with the goal to create a new king of social economy. With today’s release we are adding Hoka Links. A simple way to accept online payments using Hoka. When you share your link in Dikalo, we generate a beautiful card for the link. Clicking on the button or the link itself will display the payment composer. We cant wait to see what you will do with that link.
