Daniel Agnéro

Daniel A. Agnéro

Co-Founder, Vice Chairman

Daniel Agnéro is a young Ivorian entrepreneur in Côte d’Ivoire. From a very young age, he has shown a keen interest in computer science, which led him to pursue university studies and obtain a BTS and then a DUT in computer science to increase his knowledge and develop his potential. Later, he obtained a Master’s degree and decided to specialize in design.

In search of an innovative project for Africa, particularly for his country Côte d’Ivoire, he teamed up with six other young enthusiasts to hope to create one of the best social networks made in Africa. Unfortunately, the project didn’t take off and they decided to put an end to the Weenbuz adventure with disappointment.

However, Daniel’s adventure did not end there. In 2017, he met Dikalo, a project that perfectly matched his initial idea. After months of sleepless nights and hard work, with him as a designer and Ekambi as a web developer, Dikalo 2.0 was reborn at the end of 2021 with an interface that impressed thousands of people, even the most skeptical. It was quite natural that he became the co-founder and one of the pillars of the project.

In addition to his role as co-founder of Dikalo, Daniel Agnéro is also the founder and CEO of Xiaomi Boutique, with ambitions to expand its reach into other African countries, as well as the CEO of Filbix. It’s safe to say that Daniel Agnéro still has plenty of tricks up his sleeve that we will certainly hear about in the years to come.

Description

Kate Awanda

Co-Founder, Vice Chairwoman

She was born in Cameroon and holds degrees from the École Supérieure de Commerce and the CFPA in journalism and radio/TV broadcasting.

In 2018, she accompanied friends in creating an independent audiovisual production company, Creativ Com, which later became Creativ Com 237. One year after the release of their first independent program, they launched a second program, and it was their communication about the upcoming release that caught the attention of the writer due to the absence of the Dikalo logo on their digital materials. The writer made a post about it and was contacted a few hours later by the person who would become the face of Dikalo’s communication.

It must be said that 2020 was not an easy year for many, and we were no exception. We had fallen behind on our schedule and lost a lot of subscribers on the platform. Dikalo 2.0 was eagerly anticipated, and despite our hard work, we needed a boost of energy.

Awanda quickly embraced our ideology and became an indispensable part of our team. It was just impossible to let her go. You have undoubtedly felt the refreshing breeze without knowing exactly where it came from…

We gained more subscribers, more curiosity about the application, more involvement from each and every one of you, and more efficiency. And just between us, all of this was accomplished without a real communication budget, only the will to push ourselves further every day.

Awanda is not just a marketer and communicator, she is also passionate about music and cooking. Those who follow her on Dikalo know this well…
